Professional HD 3D LCD monitor
JVC has announced the launch of a large full-HD 3D LCD monitor for professional use. The GD-463D10, planned for release this summer, has a 46" screen and is only 39mm thick.
The screen uses JVC’s unique high-quality 3D visual engine to deliver a natural,
flicker-free visual experience. Video input is compatible with industry-standard line-by-line and side-by-side 3D formats and, additionally, the screen also offers standard 2D HD
playback.
The GD-463D10 provides its flickerfree 3D images by adopting the Xpol® polarizing filter method, which uses battery-free passive-type circular polarizing filter glasses. JVC’s
unique 3D decoder circuit translates images into the optimal display format, keeping subtle gradations and shades of colour. 
On shutter glass 3D displays, the left eye and right eye information switches back and forth. However, with its Xpol polarizing filter, the GD-463D10 always displays left and right images together on the screen, offering a clean, stable 3D picture.
